Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Duluth East turned things around against Denfeld on Friday. They blew past the Hunters 33-6. Considering the Greyhounds' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cloquet). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-6 victory over Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia]. The Lumberjacks not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27, 2024 (when they won 52-0).

Cloquet's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Duluth East, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.
