Softball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Takes a Loss

Peachtree Ridge blew Duluth out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Duluth got their revenge. The Lions fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-3. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Peachtree Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Duluth, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peachtree Ridge will venture away from home to challenge Lanier at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Longhorns have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.83 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Duluth, they will face off against Collins Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
