Baseball Recap: Charlevoix Takes a Loss

Charlevoix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 10-5 to the East Jordan Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rayders of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Charlevoix's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for East Jordan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coincidentally, Charlevoix and East Jordan will both be playing Elk Rapids the next time they take the field. The Rayders will head out to face the Elks at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Red Devils will host them at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
