Recap: Taylor Allderdice Dragons vs. Aliquippa Quips
The Taylor Allderdice Dragons came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 52.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down Aliquippa 59-42. That's another feather in the cap for Taylor Allderdice, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Taylor Allderdice's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Golle, who scored 23 points along with five assists and three steals. Golle hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Major Rainey, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Taylor Allderdice's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 55.33 points. As for Aliquippa, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. As for Aliquippa, they will be playing at home against Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
