There's no place like home for Arlington, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on the Sam Houston Texans with a sharp 38-16 win on Friday. That looming 38-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Colts yet this season.

Leading Arlington to victory were Christian Moore and Coleman Cravens. Moore rushed for 116 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries, while Cravens threw for 200 yards and three TDs. That's the most passing touchdowns Cravens has posted since back in September of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Arlington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Arlington's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Sam Houston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will square off against Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will need to watch out since the Volunteers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Sam Houston, they will challenge Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Texans will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
