Baseball Recap: Noxapater Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Noxapater had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Kemper Academy Rams. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

The team relied heavily on Peyton Carlisle, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Reynolds, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Noxapater's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Kemper Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Noxapater will challenge Ethel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Noxapater's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Kemper Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' contest: after the Tigers face off against Ethel, they'll take on Kemper Academy again at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
