Softball Recap: Bixby Comes Up Short

Bixby lost against Broken Arrow back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bixby saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Heidi Gruenwald, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Bixby's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Broken Arrow, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Bixby wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Tuttle on the 26th. As for Broken Arrow, they will challenge Jenks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
