Basketball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Burroughs Bears, falling 68-36. The Nitros lost against the Bears in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 49-39 score last time.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Burroughs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glendale will host Hoover at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burroughs, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Muir at 5:15 p.m.
