Softball Recap: McEachern Comes Up Short

After flying high against Osborne on Thursday, McEachern came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Hiram Hornets by a score of 8-7 on Monday. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

McEachern's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hiram, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McEachern will venture away from home to challenge Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hiram, they will head out to square off against Allatoona at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
