Softball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Comes Up Short

Peachtree Ridge lost against North Gwinnett back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions fell 5-2 to the Bulldogs.

Peachtree Ridge's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for North Gwinnett, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peachtree Ridge will take on Norcross at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Gwinnett, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Parkview at 5:00 p.m. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.57 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
