Basketball Game Preview: Deer Valley Wolverines vs. Freedom Falcons

Deer Valley hasn't had much luck against Freedom recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Deer Valley Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Freedom Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Deer Valley is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 20th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They had to suffer through a 61-30 loss at the hands of Pittsburg.

Meanwhile, Freedom unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Dublin by a score of 44-41. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Gaels 18-10 in the first quarter.

Deer Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Freedom, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.

Deer Valley was dealt a bruising 57-27 loss at the hands of Freedom when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Deer Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
