Baseball Recap: Fullington Academy Trojans vs. Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles

In what's become a running theme this season, Fullington Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles. The victory was just what Fullington Academy needed coming off of a 14-1 loss in their prior matchup.

Bryson Faulk and Cutter Tharpe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Faulk tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Tharpe pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). At the plate, Faulk scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances, while Tharpe scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5.

In other batting news, Brody Ashley was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Mitcham, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
