Basketball Game Preview: Milpitas Trojans vs. Los Altos Eagles

The Milpitas Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Los Altos Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Los Altos took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Milpitas, who comes in off a win.

Milpitas took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-27 win over Fremont.

Milpitas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jadyn Little, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Little a new career-high in points. Rachel Hoang was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

Milpitas smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Los Altos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 35-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fremont. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Milpitas' record is now 8-13. As for Los Altos, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Milpitas lost to Los Altos on the road by a decisive 54-36 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Milpitas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
