Baseball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

Dover fell victim to Sussex Central and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Golden Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Senators in their meetings with the Golden Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Sussex Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Dover will head out on the road to square off against St. Georges Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sussex Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delaware Military Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Seahawks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
