Basketball Recap: Blair Comes Up Short

Blair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Temple City Rams and fell 61-14. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-8.

It was another big night for Kristi Huynh, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 20 points and six blocks for Temple City. The dominant performance gave Huynh a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Lauren Lee, who posted eight points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Temple City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-9.

While Blair had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
