Softball Recap: Iberia Rangers vs. Vienna Eagles
Iberia won the last time they faced Vienna and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rangers were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Eagles. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.
Jaylyn Piggott made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
