Baseball Game Preview: Northview Titans vs. Druid Hills Red Devils

The Northview Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Druid Hills Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Northview has given up an average of 8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Northview came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Druid Hills, falling 16-5.

Northview saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graham Forney, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

With the defeat, Druid Hills broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Northview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
