Georgia School for Innovation & Classics's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Georgia Military College Bulldogs as the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots made off with a 13-3 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Bryson McGraw made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-6 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaxon Watkins, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. He has become a key player for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Caleb Bowles was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.6 runs. Georgia Military College has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics is taking a road trip to take on Burke County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Georgia Military College, they will welcome Glascock County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
