Basketball Game Preview: Safford Bulldogs vs. The Gregory School Hawks

The Safford Bulldogs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face The Gregory School Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Safford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Safford is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Andrada Polytechnic 97-28. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, The Gregory School was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Patagonia 61-25. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

The Gregory School has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Safford, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
