Their defense stepped up to hand the Yellow Jackets a 5-0 shutout. Lowndes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Thomas County Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joseph Rudolphi (3), Liam Delaney, and JP Van Hook.

The win made it two in a row for Lowndes and bumps their season record up to 9-7. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Colquitt County, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Colquitt County might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Lowndes in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Packers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
