Basketball Recap: East College Prep Comes Up Short

East College Prep lost against Alliance Bloomfield back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The East College Prep Spartans fell 37-27 to the Alliance Bloomfield Bulls. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulls 10-6 in the first quarter.

East College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Alliance Bloomfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

The future could be bright for both East College Prep and Alliance Bloomfield: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. East College Prep will try to hand Academia Avance their seventh-straight defeat when the two meet at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alliance Bloomfield will look to extend Smidt Tech's four-game losing streak when the meet at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
