Softball Recap: Elkhorn North Falls Short Against Ranked Blair

Elkhorn North faced Blair in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves fell just short of the Bears by a score of 8-6. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost five in a row.

Naomi Cameron made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Daubert, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Elkhorn North's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Blair, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Elkhorn North nor Blair have any future games scheduled.
