Basketball Recap: Reynolds Comes Up Short

Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Sharpsville Blue Devils and fell 57-29. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 613th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 251st).

Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Sharpsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Reynolds will be playing at home against Union at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Reynolds is facing Union at the right time seeing as Union is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Sharpsville has already played their next game (against Conneaut Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
