Bishop McGuinness can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against the Clinton Red Tornadoes by a score of 7-4. This was a revenge game for the Fighting Irish: when they faced off against the Red Tornadoes on Tuesday, they had to take a 12-7 defeat.

Mila Breslin - 2029 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Molly Milligan - 2027 was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted over her last seven matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Lainey Waldo - 2027, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Bishop McGuinness' win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Clinton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Bishop McGuinness will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bishop Kelley at 4:00 p.m. As for Clinton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Midwest City at 12:30 p.m. on the 20th.
