Preview: Coronado vs. Point Loma
Coronado has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Point Loma Pointers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Point Loma took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Coronado, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, it was close, but Coronado sidestepped Patrick Henry for a 2-1 victory.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Point Loma's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cathedral Catholic on Tuesday. Point Loma has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Coronado's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Point Loma, they now have a losing record at 5-6-5.
Coronado might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Point Loma in their previous meeting back in January. Can Coronado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
