Softball Recap: Colo-NESCO Takes a Loss

Colo-NESCO was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the BCLUW Comets, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 back in May.

Colo-NESCO's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for BCLUW, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Colo-NESCO is set to challenge their familiar foe Collins-Maxwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, BCLUW will take on rival GMG at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 3, the Wolverines 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
