Soccer Recap: Springville Comes Up Short

Springville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bear River Bears.

Springville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Bear River, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11.

Coming up, Springville will host Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wasatch will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Springville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bear River, they will head out on the road to take on Ridgeline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bear River's defense better be ready for this one: Ridgeline have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season.
