Ruidoso and Socorro are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2015, but likely not for long. Ruidoso will be playing at home against Socorro at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Ruidoso managed to keep up with New Mexico Military Institute until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors lost 4-0 to the Colts. Ruidoso have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Socorro fought the good fight in their overtime match against Hatch Valley on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 4-3. Socorro haven't had much luck with Hatch Valley recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kyle Berger and Derek Acosta scored all three of Socorro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Socorro's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Ruidoso, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2.
