Soccer Game Preview: University vs. Branson

The University Red Devils will venture away from home to take on the Branson Bulls at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

University is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Archie Williams just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Peregrine Falcons by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Branson was forced to settle for a draw. They and Petaluma finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

University's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. With that draw, Branson's record moves to 4-1-1.

University came up short against Branson when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
