Soccer Game Preview: Wheeler County vs. Swainsboro

The Wheeler County Bulldogs will face off against the Swainsboro Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Wheeler County narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Hawkinsville 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Swainsboro came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Swainsboro who was credited with the victory. While they didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Cristian Garcia, who's now up to two this season.

Wheeler County's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Swainsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
