Garrison hadn't done well against Timpson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs strolled past the Bears with points to spare, taking the game 30-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Garrison and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 24 points in those games. As for Timpson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Garrison is set to challenge their familiar foe Joaquin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Timpson will square off against rival San Augustine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
