Baseball Recap: Lassiter Find Success

Lassiter's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Forsyth Wolverines, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since May 2, 2024.

Lassiter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for West Forsyth and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Lassiter will face off against Alexander at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Forsyth, they will square off against East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
