Soccer Recap: Justin-Siena Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Justin-Siena was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against the Casa Grande Gauchos, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 620th, while the Gauchos are ranked 140th).

Justin-Siena now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Casa Grande, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Justin-Siena will host Sonoma Valley at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for Casa Grande, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Petaluma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Casa Grande is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.2 goals per game this season.
