For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Broadwater Academy and Chincoteague meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Vikings walked away with a 38-29 win over the Ponies. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their 12-point performance the matchup before.

Despite the loss, Chincoteague still got an impressive performance from Camaury Davis, who rushed for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Davis showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.

Broadwater Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Chincoteague, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Broadwater Academy will welcome Greenbrier Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on the 6th. As for Chincoteague, they will head out to face off against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
