Softball Recap: Lake Mills Takes a Loss

Lake Mills lost against Eagle Grove on June 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-5.

Lake Mills dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Eagle Grove, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Lake Mills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-4 loss against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 27th. As for Eagle Grove, they have also already played their next game, a 7-6 defeat against Mason City on the 28th.
