Baseball Game Preview: Hardaway Hawks vs. Spencer Greenwave

Hardaway is a perfect 6-0 against Spencer since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hawks will look to defend their home field against the Greenwave at 5:30 p.m. Hardaway is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Hardaway lost 17-1 to Shaw on Tuesday.

Hardaway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Rodriguez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. Rodriguez has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Jakobe Dewhart also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Spencer's offense. They came up short against Columbus on Friday, falling 15-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Greenwave in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost five in a row.

Hardaway's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Spencer, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Hardaway got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Spencer by a conclusive 15-0 score. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Greenwave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
