Eastlake is 10-0 against Otay Ranch since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Eastlake Titans will face off against the Otay Ranch Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eastlake took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Coronado by a score of 3-1. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Islanders are ranked 608th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eastlake hit Coronado with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Braleah Burris, Briana Howard, and Kayla Rivers.

Meanwhile, Otay Ranch's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat Steele Canyon by a goal, winning 2-1.

Naveah Arinduque, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Otay Ranch squad sat out for Wednesday's game. With Arinduque sidelined, Abby Kessler got her first action of the season. Kessler made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Eastlake pushed their record up to 7-2-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Otay Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 6-1-3.

Eastlake beat Otay Ranch 3-1 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastlake since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
