Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson lost against Sioux City West back in June, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Wolverines, falling 14-3. That's two games in a row now that the Yellowjackets have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-27 record this season. As for Sioux City West, they moved to 6-11 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Jefferson by a score of 8-3 later that day.
