Preview: Palmdale Falcons vs. Lancaster Eagles
Palmdale is 0-10 against Lancaster since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Palmdale Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Lancaster Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 102-16, which was the final score in Palmdale's tilt against Eastside on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Palmdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 982nd, while Eastside is ranked 449th).
Meanwhile, Lancaster was the victim of a tough 57-36 loss at the hands of Knight on Thursday.
Palmdale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lancaster, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Palmdale took a serious blow against Lancaster in their previous meeting back in January, falling 52-15. Can Palmdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
