Softball Recap: Muskogee Comes Up Short

Muskogee couldn't beat Bixby on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Roughers came up short against the Spartans, falling 18-7. The Roughers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Muskogee's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Bixby, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Coming up, Muskogee will be playing in front of their home fans against Tahlequah at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bixby, they will take on Norman North at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
