Basketball Recap: Cajon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cajon lost against San Jacinto back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cowboys took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Loss or not, Cajon got some senior leadership from Jasmine Jackson and Eunaysia Nolley. Jackson almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds, while Nolley dropped a double-double with 21 points and 20 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nolley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Niya Zamora, who posted two points along with eight steals and five rebounds.

Cajon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for San Jacinto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Cajon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Bernardino at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2026. As for San Jacinto, they will take on Beaumont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
