Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benton). They blew past the Davenport West Falcons 16-1 on Friday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Benton has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Davenport West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-15.

Benton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Muscatine on the 27th. As for Davenport West, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against West Burlington on the 28th.
