Softball Recap: Red Oak Has No Trouble Against Byng

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Oak). They came out on top against the Byng Pirates by a score of 8-4 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Red Oak's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Byng, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Red Oak wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Dickson on the 23rd. As for Byng, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-1 win against Tishomingo on the 23rd.
