Preview: Waynesburg Central Raiders vs. Frazier Commodores
After two games on the road, Waynesburg Central is heading back home. They will take on the Frazier Commodores at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Waynesburg Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday.
Waynesburg Central has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Carmichaels 72-25 on the road.
Kaley Rohanna went supernova for Waynesburg Central, scoring 28 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Rohanna has scored at least 25% of Waynesburg Central's points. Emma Kindervater was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Frazier suffered a tough 66-41 loss at the hands of Brownsville on Tuesday.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Waynesburg Central's victory pushed their record up to 3-0, while Carmichaels' loss dropped theirs down to 0-3.
Waynesburg Central was able to grind out a solid win over Frazier in their previous matchup back in January, winning 50-43. Does Waynesburg Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Frazier turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
