Baseball Recap: Milledgeville Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Milledgeville waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats. Considering the Missiles have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Milledgeville will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lena-Winslow at 4:30 p.m. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Missiles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, they will venture away from home to challenge Morrison at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
