Recap: Upper Dauphin Area Trojans vs. Schuylkill Valley Panthers
If the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans were feeling good off their 63-21 takedown of the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Upper Dauphin Area took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Schuylkill Valley on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Upper Dauphin Area has scored all season.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emilee Deibert, who scored five points along with six rebounds. Deibert set a new season high mark in steals with two. Another player making a difference was Kasey Weibley, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds.
Upper Dauphin Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Schuylkill Valley, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Upper Dauphin Area will be playing in front of their home fans against Susquenita at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Susquenita focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Monday. As for Schuylkill Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Brandywine Heights Area at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
