Softball Recap: Chelsea Wins Going Away Against Nowata

Chelsea won the last time they faced Nowata and things went their way on Monday too. The Dragons put the hurt on the Ironmen with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Chelsea and bumps their season record up to 6-10. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Nowata, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chelsea is set to take on their familiar foe Fairland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nowata will face off against rival Caney Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
