Basketball Recap: Carrick's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

After losing to Propel Braddock Hills the last time they met, Carrick decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Carrick Raiders came out on top against Propel Braddock Hills by a score of 46-38 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Despite the loss, Propel Braddock Hills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Trinity Finney posted 14 points. Those 14 points gave Finney a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Knight, who earned eight points.

Carrick now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Propel Braddock Hills, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Carrick will venture away from home to face off against Geibel Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Propel Braddock Hills has already played their next contest, a 37-18 loss against Beaver County Christian on the 19th.
