Basketball Recap: Credo Takes a Loss

Credo suffered their biggest loss since December 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 49-19 defeat at the hands of the Sonoma Academy Coyotes. The loss continues a trend for the Gryphon in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now lost nine in a row.

Anya Besack was Credo's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Credo now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Sonoma Academy, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Credo has already played their next game (against Willits), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sonoma Academy will be playing at home against Roseland Collegiate Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
