Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Carroll couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Westfield Shamrocks on Friday, falling 35-14. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Although Carroll took the loss, they still got scores from Gabe Frisinger and Mason Baughman.

Among those leading the charge was Aiden Grabowski, who rushed for 90 yards and one touchdown. What's more, he racked up 44 passing yards, the most he's had since back in September.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Westfield, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westfield, they will take on Brownsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Shamrocks 13.4, the Bulldogs 14.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
